BEYOND THE WATER · THE SIERRA MADRE
Land adventures, arranged just as easily
Twenty minutes behind Puerto Vallarta, the jungle rises fast. These excursions run daily at Canopy River Park — home of the Jorullo Bridge, the longest vehicular suspension bridge in the world, and the Jorullo Point glass platform above the river canyon. Shuttle pickup is at Insurgentes 379 in the Romantic Zone, a short walk from Indah; arrive twenty minutes before your pickup time. Every tour includes the shuttle, a welcome drink, and a tequila tasting.
One clear line, so you always know who answers for your day: these excursions are a separate service from our yacht charters. Your reservation, your payment, and the tour itself are with Canopy River, arranged for you by Becky. Boat and Bay's role — and responsibility — is the water.

Through the canopy
Zip Line
Eleven zip lines through the river canyon, a fifteen-minute mule ride up, and a walk across the Jorullo Bridge on the way.
River Expedition
Six zip lines, two rappels — one free-fall — a Tarzan line, river tubing, and walking bridges. The full canyon, top to bottom.
Hiking to Jorullo Point
A guided hike with seasonal fruit along the way, ending on the glass platform suspended above the Sierra. Bilingual guide throughout.
Off-road & the bridge
ATV Tour
A guided ATV ride through jungle trails and river crossings, with safety equipment provided.
Combo: Bridge + Zip Line
The full day: across the Jorullo Bridge by ATV or RZR to the El Salto waterfall, then eleven zip lines and the mule ride. The park's complete experience in one reservation.
RZR Tour
The same trails with a co-pilot seat — a side-by-side RZR for those who want the ride shared.
Jorullo Point by Ranger
A guided all-terrain Ranger drive up to the glass platform, with a light Mexican snack at the top. The view without the hike.
Jorullo Bridge · ATV or RZR
Drive across the world's longest vehicular suspension bridge and continue to the El Salto waterfall. Available by ATV or RZR.
Gentler days
Horseback Riding
Two and a half hours through the foothills with a bilingual guide, a walk across the Jorullo Bridge, and a beer or soft drink waiting at the end.
Day Pass
The bridge, the infinity pool overlooking the canyon, and the whole day to take it slowly. For everyone who came to watch, not to jump.
Rates depend on the date and group — message Becky and she will quote your tour the same day.
For safety, these excursions are not suitable during pregnancy or with asthma, heart, or back conditions; cameras stay in the bag on the active tours.

The details, stated plainly
Confirming a charter
A written quotation comes first, always. A 50 % deposit confirms your date, and the deposit must clear at least 24 hours before departure — the pre-boarding inspection, crew briefing, and provisioning happen in that window, which is why same-day charters cannot be confirmed. Planning a day ahead is what makes the day itself effortless.
Weather, stated in advance
If the captain deems conditions unsafe or the port closes, you reschedule at no cost or receive a full refund, excluding processing fees. A cloudy sky is not grounds — and we will tell you that plainly, ahead of time.
Charter prices on this page
Every rate shown includes the Los Muertos departure, the water-taxi transfer, and IVA. The main vessel pages show base rates with departure fees listed separately — this page is your all-in reference for Los Muertos. A registered Mexican business with proper IVA invoicing; no hidden fees, no surprises on the day. December 20 through January 6 carries a seasonal adjustment on charter rates — Becky quotes the exact figure for your date.
Who you're booking with
Every yacht charter on this page is composed, contracted, invoiced, and personally answered for by Boat and Bay. The Sierra excursions are a separate service: reservations and payments for tours go to Canopy River through Becky, and the tour runs under Canopy River's terms and responsibility. Pickup at Insurgentes 379, twenty minutes early; tours cancel freely up to 24 hours before. Clear lines are how we work.
