How to Get to Shore (and Where to Go)
Your yacht will anchor just offshore, and from there, you'll need a transfer to the beach. There are a few options:
Yacht tender/dinghy: Some of our yachts (like 2PE) come with their own small boat, ideal for kids, elderly guests, and group drop-offs. The crew handles everything, including helping you on and off.
Local panga (water taxi): These small boats pick you up from your yacht and drop you right at the restaurant or beach of your choice. They work for tips (usually $300–500 MXN round trip). Easy, quick, and safe.
There’s also a wooden dock in the center of Las Ánimas. Only pangas can use it—not yachts—but it’s perfect if you prefer to avoid getting your toes wet. This dock divides the beach into two zones:
The lively side: Home to most of the restaurants, umbrellas, and water taxis. Expect music, energy, and a great seafood smell.
The quiet side: Fewer restaurants, more open beach, and better spots for jet skiing, swimming, and skydiving. You’ll also spot horses and even a picturesque wooden swing (“Columpio”) that's perfect for Instagram.
